Solid Performances From CoSARC’s Depleted Squad

The first Southern Athletics League match was held in Gillingham, Kent. CoSARC fielded a small but supreme team of athletes, who didn't let the heat of the day prevent them from turning out some excellent performances across a range of disciplines. Richard Davidson earned a well deserved PB in the Hammer. Despite being light on numbers CoSARC still managed a solid 3rd place. In the 5000M Anton Weatherhead stormed round the track in 15:49:90 to earn himself a well deserved PB by 3 seconds.

The Salisbury Schools Mini Marathon benefitted from lots of volunteers and supporters, who all helped make the day a memorable one for the competitors. The following CoSARC juniors took part : Rory Marks, Lawrie Holmes, Jack Diffey, Humphrey Habert Year 3&4 Boys 4th, Sophie Earl Year 5&6 Girls 12th, Indigo Badger Year 5&6 Girls 16th, Martha Makin Year 5&6 Girls 21st, James Chant U11 Boys 10:20.

CoSARC athletes acquitted themselves very well in the Winchester Open Track Meet. They took full advantage of the amazing facilities to record some great times. Their results were: Thomas Dewey 3000m 9:35 PB by 23 seconds, Katie Clements 3000m 12:45:90, Lilli Clements-Champion Javelin 19.20m.
