Whoop! Whoop! Announcing the next CoShARC ‘Emerging from Lockdown’ event;

It’s Mile of Miles and hopefully, lots of smiles too.

Teams of 5 will complete a metric mile relay (4 laps of the track) to see who will emerge as CoShARC Champions! There will be two events, with four teams in each. All participants, and the organisation of the track, will be in accordance with the most current social distancing guidelines.

Runners will be seeded accordingly and there will be a ‘virtual’ live draw (on FACEBOOK LIVE) the week before the event (1930 on Thursday 23 July 2020) to determine who will be in each team (by seeding runners we can ensure that each team has an equal spread of ability).

You then have a week to liaise with your team members, choose a name, discuss team kit/fancy dress and running order! Each runner will be timed (and age graded) on their mile which will give us an overall team time.

Entries close at 1100 on Thursday 23 July 2020

There will be prizes for fastest team, most ‘creative’ team (name and kit) as well as fastest age-graded male and female participants.

Friends, family and fellow club members will be allowed to support from the sidelines, in compliance with the most current social distancing guidelines.

Entry is a mere £3 to cover track fees and admin. Participants must be over 18 and members of the club. You can sign up others on their behalf.
