If you’ve always fancied running the London Marathon but never had the opportunity, this could be your chance!
Due to the pandemic, The Club has 3 places in the London Marathon to allocate - one place in 2021 (3rd October 2021) and two places in 2022 (24th April 2022). These places will be decided in a ballot which will be open to Club members who have NOT run the London Marathon before.
To be eligible for the ballot you must be a first claim current club member, be prepared to run in 2021 or 2022 and have never run London before (we will be checking!) If you are successful, you will need to pay for your entry and you must run in club kit (you do not need to have entered the official London ballot).
There will be only one draw for all 3 places so if successful, the entry may be for this year or next.
The ballot will be drawn shortly before Wednesday club run on 26th May, hopefully streamed live on Facebook for those not running that evening.
Entries will close at Midnight on Monday 24th May 2021
The Club Committee confirm the criteria for eligibility as follows:

You must be over 18 years of age on race day. (anyone turning 18 after 3rd October 2021 but before 24th April 2022 who wishes to enter the ballot – please email secretary@salisbury-arc.org)

You must be a fully paid up (Club membership and UKA affiliation) first claim member of CoSARC

You do not need to be present at the ballot draw to be eligible.

Club members selected through the Club ballot must accept or reject their ballot by notifying Jane Knight (assistant Club Secretary) either in person or via email: secretary@salisbury-arc.org within 7 days of the draw

Please note; successful applicants must wear Club vests in the London Marathon as you are entering as the Clubs’ affiliation places
