Track & Field Schedule

salisbury-hs-c640.jpg Track and Field is the backbone of any athletics club and at Salisbury AC we are committed to making athletics both fun for all who participate while at the same time encouraging the pursuit of excellence and the fulfilment of potential.

We have training and competitive opportunities for all ages from 9 upwards with use of a fully equipped 6 lane, 400m track that is certified for hosting track and field matches. The track is floodlit so this enables us to continue training through the year.

If you are new to athletics and want to come and give it go please do come along on one of our club nights at the athletics track near Five Rivers Leisure Centre, Salisbury on a Tuesday or Thursday evening from 6:30, and enquire about availability.

Training Timetable

Adults, interval sessions – Tuesday 6.30-8.00pm led by Simon Adlard

Quad Kids & School Year 6 – Tuesday 6-7pm or Thursday 5.30-6.30pm

Sprints – seniors down to U13 – Tuesday & Thursday 6.30-8.00pm

Long Jump, Triple Jump, Hurdles – seniors down to U13 – Tuesday & Thursday 6.30-8.00pm

Middle Distance – U20 down to U13 – Tuesday & Thursday 6.30-8.00pm

Pole Vault – by arrangement

High Jump – seniors down to U13 – Tuesday 6.30-8.00pm led by Deborah Bray

Throws – shot & javelin only – seniors down to U13 – Tuesday & Thursday 6.30-8.00pm

Throws – all – Saturday & Sunday morning 10 am – 12.30pm unless there is a match on the weekend – more details from Alan Munro

Various weekend coaching sessions are arranged by individual coaches


Track fees are £2 members and £4 non-members unless you have purchased a subscription with a track pass included. Track pass season ticket available from here

We take children from the age of 9 or school year 4. We are not a school club so do not stop for school holidays.
