It's great to see official races starting up again, and here are the results for this month so far, don't forget to send in your results to be included in the results report each week.
On the 4 April 2021 we had athletes competing in the Dorney Lake Marathon, which was a flat course on a windy day:
Mike White set a new marathon PB with a chip time of 3:17:52.
Di Cross had a chip time of: 5:17.
Last weekend a few athletes took part in the Hinton Admiral New Forest Trail Half Marathon, I had a couple of comments that the course was a little short:
Dave Gervais chip time: 1:40:05
Katie Mahoney (2nd half marathon) chip time: 2:04:27 PB (12 minutes faster than her first half)
Kate Buttimer raised £607 for 'Make 2nds Count' a charity that aids more research and support for people suffering with secondary breast cancer. Chip time: 2:07:36 (with a fall on the course, but battled on to the finish).
Nick Lay chip time: 1:41.11 PB
Jenny Hartley ran the New Forest Trail 10k at 7.5 months pregnant with a chip time of: 55:23
This Sunday, James Mills completed the South Downs Way 50 mile race with a chip time of: 7:21:01. A 50 mile PB of 35 minutes and a course PB of 50 minutes. James came 14th place overall and 4th in age group.
