CoSARC Juniors excel in English Schools Championships

On Saturday CoSARC juniors took part in the English Schools Championships in Tunbridge Wells, an event that attracted competitors from 45 counties writes Vasen Moodley


Sophie Nicholls finished a superb 3rd again, and will finally get to represent England next week. There was also a fine run by Lizzy Norton in the senior girls race. Francesca Cole, Sophie Wood and Sophie Hayakana helped the Wilts junior girls team to 11th place. Lukas Bailey was first home for the Wilts Senior boys team team. Mim Grey, Sophie Makin and Milly Rayner ran in the Inter Girls race, Charlie Coles (Hants), James Gabriel (Wilts) in the junior boys and Tom Wood in the Inter boys. L.ink to Report and Results HERE

Eastleigh 10K was a flat course that was run in glorious sunshine on an early Spring day. CoSARC finish times were : Lee Syrett 36:58, Chris Simm 40:32, Sam Noyce 42:03, Kieran McManus 42:57 PB 2:40, Katie Clements 44:01, Peter Rattue 48:23, Kate Buttimer 54:18, Simon Adlard 1:06:40.

Lulworth HM was run on a windy day with 2,064 feet of elevation thrown in to make it more interesting. CoSARC finish times were Reece Ingram 2:02:49 (7th) and Anton Paton 2:07:07 (11th).

Sussex Half-Marathon was Elodie Gaborieau’s first time at that distance. It was a tough, hilly course that was run against a strong wind. Elodie finished in 2:34:07.
