Following new guidance today from the Government and England Athletics, we are cancelling all training including road and track until further notice with immediate effect.
We appreciate this is disappointing to many of you but we must prioritise the safety and wellbeing of not only our members but those that they come in contact with.
The club would like to fully comply with the guidance regarding ‘social distancing’ and we politely request that members do not arrange events to imitate the Salisbury 10 or various marathons around the town. Gatherings of this nature will not reflect well on the club at this time.
It’s likely to be a tough few months and we will do our best to keep in touch whilst we wait for the storm to pass.
We will also be postponing the club AGM scheduled for the end of April and have received notification that the first Wessex League match has been cancelled.
