|Lee coaches the Sprint Group at the club and has been coaching for around 5 years, initially as a volunteer, then a level 1 Coach and then a level 2 Sprint Coach. Lee has been Coaching Coordinator for the club and Wiltshire Athletics Association since 2011.|
Lee is also a Level 2 Timekeeper. As part of his duties as Coaching Coordinator Lee is currently undertaking the new UKA Athletics Coach award and the Event Group Coach qualification for Sprints andHurdles.
|Richard began helping out at the club with the Sprint Group in 2011 and subsequently qualified as a Coaching Assistant in September 2011 and is now a key part of the Sprint Group coaching structure.|
|Richard is a tremendous servant of the club and has been coach of the Junior section since 2011. In September 2011 Richard completed his Coaching Assistant qualification is now undertaking the Athletics Coach Award. Additionally, Richard is joint team manager for the junior section for competitions in the Wessex Youth League and the Wiltshire Super 8s. As well as coaching the junior section with Tori, Rich is also part of the Sprint Group coaching team, as well as a competing athlete himself and a level 2 Field Judge.|
|Lewis is a competing long distance runner and completed his Coaching Assistant qualification in 2011. Lewis is now the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the club and brings his considerable personal experience to supporting the clubs athletes in their conditioning programs both at the club and at home. Lewis is also a level 2 Track Judge.|
|Gary has been assisting Sue Hazzard with the middle distance group of the youth section and completed his Coaching Assistant qualification in 2011. Gary is now undertaking his Athletics Coach award and is also joint Track and Field Manager for the Wessex Youth League.|
|Simon qualified as a level 2 coach some three years ago and concentrates on our middle to long distance athletes. Simon has coached and mentored a number of Salisbury AC athletes who have progressed to compete regionally and nationally.|
Simon is a keen and enthusiastic member of the coaching team and is available for coaching and advice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the middle and distance runners training sessions. Simon is also a qualified England Athletics Official Level 2/3 and a Starter/Marksman, working towards a full level 3 national grade.
|Martin is Salisbury AC's Men's Team Manager for the Southern Athletics League.|
An experienced sprinter himself, Martin is an active track and field competitor.
|Sue started coaching in 2000. She was bitten by the athletics bug having encouraged her own two children to join Salisbury AC and is now an established level 2 middle distance coach. Sue is much loved by our young athletes and she manages our very talented and enthusiastic Young Athletes League team.|
Sue is now continuing to study for her level 3 coaching qualification but still finds time to train hard herself and stay fit enough to compete in no less than 5 London marathons.
|Dave joined the local Salisbury athletics club back in 1957 and after more than 50 years he is still a huge influence within Salisbury AC and actively coaching. Dave is passionate about athletics and began his coaching career in 1980.|
Since then he has influenced and mentored scores of athletes with an array of county, regional and national winners to his name. Henrietta Paxton, ex English schools Long jump champion, Michelle Smith and Veryan Weeks are just some of the illustrious athletes to have benefitted from Dave’s coaching. Dave's philosophy is 'Improvement will always follow on from work and dedication'.
|Andy has been a qualified coach for over 20 years and currently coaches the long and triple jump group. As Andy believes in life long learning he is not resting on his laurels or experience and in 2012 is undertaking his Athletics Coach qualification and has refreshed his field judge qualification.|
